Thanks so much to Rohan and Sandra at Dynamic Flight for teaching me how to fly! I never thought I could do it being female and scared of heights. I used to think that you needed superior physical abilities to become a hang glider pilot but during the course found out that it is more about feel and observation than absolute strength. My fear of heights was never an issue as I become confident with my equipment, instructor and my own abilities in flying, launching and landing. There is nothing better than the feeling of floating and flying next to a real bird! The whole experience has taught me more about myself and has improved my stress management, observation and decision making skills. I have met some fantastic people in the hang gliding community who go out of their way to help and encourage beginners such as myself.

There is no better place to learn to fly than at Dynamic Flight where you can immerse yourself in the unique world of flying. Don’t worry if it takes you longer than the course allows to learn how to fly, Rohan is extremely calm and patient and would never advance you to the next step if you are not ready. Some people take longer to become confident in the basics like myself who returned for some private tuition to finish the course at a later date. I can fully recommend the course to anyone wanting to learn how to fly. It is great fun, you meet lots of great people from all walks of life and you learn a skill that you can take wherever life takes you. I now have a new perspective on life as I have “Discovered the Freedom” thanks to Dynamic Flight!
